Even though this wand holster was intended for later generation Cyclone sprayers, it was not difficult to get it to work on my original Cyclone. The top piece fit perfectly and matched the existing **** holes. The redesigned wand holder mechanism is much stronger than the original one which had cracked.
The lower holster piece had no dedicated attachment point on my old Cyclone, but I was able to cut off the lower piece's upper corner with a round Dremel cutting-grinding blade and then smooth off that angled edge on a belt sander and then drill a single hole in the tank's lower flange that is normally used for attaching the shoulder harness clip. The second (bottom) **** then passed through the existing opening which was for attachment of the harness clip. That second **** ended up snug against the edge of that existing opening, making the modified installation quite solid and secure. There was still enough room for a stout wire tie to go through the remainder of that opening and serve as the new attachment point for that harness clip.
My 9yo Cyclone with its original battery is still going strong, now sporting a new and improved green wand holster.
